| It only took seconds for things to spiral into disaster. Normally for Serana those seconds rarely came. She was a precise woman, always up early and to bed late, punctual, and organized... Recently, with her ajusted schedule thanks to Simon, she was al off balancde, and still trying to recooperate from that. One or two mornings sleeping in wouldn’t be so bad if she didn’t sleep in... while disaster had struck. She woke with a start, and rushed out the door as she realised it was late in the morning, nearly noon, and nearly tripped over a baby dragon... one of hers... a small deadly nadder. “Curses!” She spat in horror, scooping up the small dragon and rushing down to the achademy in fear of the worst. It was truely a bad start to a day... The gate was wide open, the latches on her pins unlocked... How... Did she forget to lock everything up the night before? Had the dragons done it!? Where were the other hatchlings?!
She put the deadly nadder into one pin, and shut it, sighing out in defeat. “One out of seven down... gods I hope the tide gliders didn’t escape their pin at the docks.”

The plan seemed so simple, her execution subtle. Alyth had been led right into the middle of Berk without perhaps the least amount of trouble than she could have ever hoped for, in large part thanks to Hiccup. Toothless had been suspicious, had acted so defensive she had almost been sure her attempts to win Hiccup's friendship would lead to her immediately striking rather than waiting. But, despite his dragon brother's reactions, the Chief had fallen for her half-lies, her spinning a story to earn the beginning of his friendship. Now, she just had to enact the rest of her plan: earning the trust of the Berkians.
She had been doing small random things, giving aid to some of the villagers, having her dragons give a hand here and there, just small, minute things that would not be seen as odd. Alyth made an effort not to wear her hood often either, mostly for fear that too many weary or suspicious looks would cause her deep unease to surface before she was ready to act. So, she left many of her things, aside from her small daggers, at her room at the inn. During her stay there though, the young woman had not failed to notice the pens for the baby dragons, one woman in particular seeming to be handling their care and breeding dragons in general feeding a new way to be of "help" to Berk.
Earlier that morning, Pyre had unlocked the pens one by one, allowing the baby dragons that seemed to be feeling adventurous out and about before Alyth had snuck in scooping two of the baby dragons, allowing them to snuggle into her arms, a baby zippleback and baby nightmare. She waited in the shadows with Pyre settled on her shoulder and sitting upon Brimstone's back, awaiting for Serana's appearance...then her frantic voice broke the silence at last, causing the three to perk up, waiting as Serana placed a baby nadder back in its pen. "Lets go Brimstone." Alyth whispered softly, the red to pink Nightmare giving a low rumble and finally slinking around some of the houses before starting to approach, letting out a soft call to announce their approach. "Oh, thank goodness we caught up with you!" Alyth called in a relieved tone, giving a quick smile of greeting towards Serana, the babies resting in her arms.
"I am so sorry we didn't come get you sooner. But I saw the babies scattering and we were trying to round them up. Unfortunately, I only was able to catch these two before they got any further." Alyth showed the two baby dragons in hand, Brimstone lowering her large head to allow her rider to slide down carefully before approaching Serana. "It appears my terrible terror got a little too carried away in his mischief and released them. I felt bad this happened and tried to correct it but, these little guys are faster than they appear." Alyth said with a meek smile of apology, Pyre giving a soft warble of apology and lowering his head just as Alyth had instructed before. The young woman though made sure the two were carefully and safely back in Serana's care. "Allow me to help round up those other babies though, its the least I can do for what happened." Alyth offered with a soft smile, hoping Serana didn't mind the extra hand.
