[Dungeon Master]

The mountains of the north are howling with the war cries of frost giants. Dragons are being forced to flee their homes as the land slowly turns to ice. The gods are busy fighting their own battles and the mortals below are left to fend for themselves against this terrible threat. Aslugarrd is the leader of the new colony, wanting to claim the mountain as his own for he and his people. The dragons forced to move will upset ecosystems and cause a famine to run through the villages of Dragons Edge.

There is one god who is willing to gamble with the mortals if they seek to stop the giants reign. He is Loki of Asgard and detests the giants that are trying to rule apart of midgard. A particular feud has sparked his distaste for Aslugarrd himself. Loki will give you a choice, gain nothing, a way to stop the giants, and supposedly a curse or blessing.

Aslugarrd however is not pleased with Loki's meddling and is aiming to give mortals power in exchange for earning his favor. He will gift those that serve him and help him secure his rule with the power of the giants.

With the King Aslugarrd and the God Loki feuding midgard is sure to suffer. Choose to help a King or a God, no matter which pulls ahead in the end chaos is sure to follow.

Welcome to the first Site Wide Plot (SWP)/Site Wide Event (SWE)! A deep freeze has come over all the lands due to the giants coming in from the north. Loki is wanting to help mortals force the giants to leave while Aslugarrd is wanting to colonize there. You roleplayers may enter your characters into this competition! The goal is to collect 20 of the two items listed depending on your characters goal.

There are two groups:

Fire Bringers and Ice Wielders, Fire bracelets are what Loki is gifting to mortals to help repel the giants. The Gems of Frost are used to help the frost giants win. Both sides have their own rewards and their own drawbacks, so one is not necessarily better than the other. With every thread you start you may pick a number between 1 and 10, you put what number you are choosing at the bottom or top of your post (somewhere the Dungeon Master can see it). PM the Dungeon Master with the number you chose and a dice roll will determine what you have received.

Here are the rules -

- You only may enter one character per group (One Fire Bringer and/or One Ice Wielder).

- You may only have one SUCCESSFUL roll per thread. If you don't gain a blessing, curse, or item for your team then you may continue requesting rolls.

- If you gain a curse, a blessing, or an item for your team than you may no longer roll within that thread.

- You may roll in every new thread you make until you gain something.

- If you are a Fire Bringer and you roll a Gem of Frost your character is to be injured in some way by a creature decided by the Dungeon Master. The severity of the injury is up to the roleplayer. The same concept applies to Ice Wielders if they roll a Bracelet of Fire.

- If you roll the opposing teams item you do not receive that item, instead you receive the injury and may roll once more.

- The curses and blessings work differently than the ones in the shop. These last ONLY for the thread you gained them in. They also vary, such as loosing a sense or gaining superhuman speed.

- You have two weeks to gain 20 of each item, if neither requirement is met than the team with the most items wins.

There is also a +30 Hacksilver event going on until the 30th of September due to this being the first event on site! Each post and thread made is now worth 60 Hacksilver instead of 30.
