ALIVA "Bow to the Queen!... and pet her too!" Alivia had enjoyed the year she had spent on Berk so far, aside from losing Toothless for about two months, that had left a scar on her heart that she couldn't quite scratch away even after he returned. She remembered the first few nights he had returned, how everyone in the house had slept together with the reunited family, and slowly it was just her and Toothless again. She had long since abandoned her nest on the cliffs overlooking the beach, and heavily enjoyed being in the human’s home. It was warmer, cleaner, and she felt like more a part of the family on top of being the royalty she saw herself as. Though Toothless still couldn’t fly she was happy to take walks with him whenever he was bored of watching Hiccup draw out details of whatever plan he had, she knew better than to try and interfere between the two brothers, especially after being reunited so soon. After around a week and a half though, she decided perhaps she should ask more often if Toothless would like to do something out of the house, or away from Hiccup- not that she minded the human tagging along on occasion, but she liked to have her own moments with the ebony dragon as well. She was starting to think of all of them as her family, rather than just close friends. “Toothless,” She started as she lifted her head from where she was resting, on Toothless’ bed, and tilted her head at the other dragon, glancing towards the door as she hinted already possibly leaving Hiccup to draw on his own, “Why don’t we head to the beach and catch some fish together?” She offered with a smile, though everyone knew she didn’t like hunting or fishing, it always got her … messy. But the walk down would be enough to distract her from the hatred of getting dirty, since she was trying to find a middle between them to avide on.

It was good to be home, the first few nights he'd slept surrounded by his family had been a salve on the wounded heart of the Night Fury, Hiccup's words before they'd parted had been cruel, but he knew now that they were spoken out of a place of fear and anxiety, and he'd already forgiven his rider for what was said. Hiccup had been through hell just as much as Toothless from this ordeal, the young man was still adjusting to the new injury, and Toothless had seen already that he was diligently working on a new tail and saddle, he was eager to be back in the sky, but having Alivia had made being grounded a much less tormenting ordeal.[break][break]

He was fond of her, beyond what he ever thought he could feel for another dragon, and the feelings were just as scary as they were amazing. Everyone had been glad to have him back, but she'd made extra efforts to make him feel less isolated while he was unable to fly, and he was more than thankful for that. He glanced up when she spoke, tilting his head curiously before turning his eyes to Hiccup, who seemed to be engrossed in what he was doing, dedicatedly planning the new pieces to get his dragon back in the air, "he'll be at it for hours..." He mused with a chuckle, before getting to his feet and stretching each limb in a very cat-like way.[break][break]

"Okay, a walk to the beach sounds nice..." He gave a grin, flicking Hiccup over the head with his tail as they shuffled out of the chief's room, he looked up from his work long enough to chuckle and wave them off before hunching back over the dozens of sketches thoughtfully.[break][break]

Toothless glanced to the side at Alivia as they walked, trying to figure out just what he wanted to say, "I'm eager to be able to fly together again..." He started, chuckling, "being grounded is terrible...Well...Sort of terrible..." He nudged against her side a little, "less terrible when you have someone to make it better." He would always be thankful that he'd met her, she could be a diva sometimes, but he found even that was charming in its own right.

ALIVA "Bow to the Queen!... and pet her too!" Alivia crooned happily and gave his cheek an affectionate nuzzle, her leafy antena folding back almost like cat's ears did when they were rubbing against a hand, "You'll be in the air again in no time." She had to walk al,out sideways to get out the bedroom door, crawling down the wall much like a bug would and out the front door the same way, her large size would make her a difficult inside Dragon if she wasn't able to cling to walls in such a way. She stretched once outside, snorting and shaking out her head, antenna nkw standing like deer antlers against her head. She turned her head to glance down at him as he spoke of being unable to fly... "My my, you're complimenting me now?" She teased and nudged him playfully.
