| Amy Arvey Avery Clark Two heads are better than one, but four is trouble "Clark you're the only one not moving your leg!" Amy snapped impatiently, even though it was true everyone else was moving their legs, Clark knew very well that if they all just moved at once that they would fall, so he ignored her yelling and just obeyed, lifting his leg... and as expected they toppled over. "Great wings in the sky, you're all insufferable!" The front two legs, belonging to who even knows, inched them closer to the edge of the water where they normally fished, not even a mile walk from their cave yet it had taken them hours to get to where they were now. The large dragon was normally supposed to prey on large animals like deer, but given their predicament they could only catch fish. It was also one thing they could do without one of the other heads messing up or doing it wrong.
"I'm insufferable?" One of the male heads snapped, hissing lowly at Amy, scoffing, "At least I can avoid thorns when I walk unlike Clark or Avery!" Clark hung his head and looked away while Avery spoke up this time.
"Stop it, both of you. Let's just feed and get back to the den." Avery said softly, two which both hostile heads glared at her, Clark ignoring them all and starting to fish they only way the large dragon heads knew how, by taking in a big mouthful of water and hoping fish are in with it.
Clark was the quiet one that usually pretended to be dumb, never really speaking to the others. Finally he snorted, catching all their attentions. "Fish." Was all the words he offered them, and they obeyed, for when Clark spoke it meant it was time to stop. They still mumbled under their breath's to one another, rude little things that didn't really bother the second male head.
Amy and Arvey's heads suddenly poke up, glancing around as they sniffed worriedly. Clark didn't bother to ask, they were both overly catious, Arvey more so than Amy.
"I smell a human." "Well I smell a deer." "I don't smell anything but fish you two, come on and hurry up with this we all want to go back don't we?" "No one asked you!"
Clark lazily looked towards where they were sniffing, not all that curious as he dipped down and continued to fish. |

It was so strange, Hiccup had seen Snap Trappers before, he'd seen how they managed four heads working in perfect tandem, that was how this particular species was supposed to work, but he'd been watching this one for a couple of days now, and it seemed like this poor thing was suffering from four distinct and difficult personalities. It might have been amusing, if this was a group of siblings arguing, but it wasn't, this was a dragon that was getting nowhere fast because from the looks of it there was no harmony. He thought about leaving, these dragons were tempermental on the best days, completely hostile on the worst, but this dragon wouldn't last forever on fish, they needed something bigger.
It was a good, clean shot, Hiccup had always been a good shot with any sort of bow, the deer had been felled and swiftly disposed of, looking back at Toothless with a wry smile, "well, lets give this a shot, shall we?" The dragon gave a soft huff, clearly unconvinced that he would be able to win any sort of trust from this confused dragon.
They were fishing by the water when he finally came close enough to be detected by them, carrying the deer slung over his shoulder as he approached, trailed after by Toothless, "hello?" He looked up at them as he slung the large deer on the ground in front of them, "I've noticed you're having trouble, figured I would help..." He looked to the side when Toothless approached, wrinkling his nose in an amused expression, "aren't your kind supposed to...I dunno...Be good hunters?" He warbled out a laugh, which earned a pleading look from Hiccup, don't piss them off? The last thing we need is a fight...Not that he thought this dragon could do as much.
He sighed after a moment and put his hands on his hips, "I've never seen a Snap Trapper with four distinct personalities, makes sense that you would have trouble..." Could he help this problem? Perhaps, it would take some convincing and talking, but this was worth fixing, "I'm Hiccup, what can I call you all?" WORDS: 000 TAGS: 000 NOTES: "Speech"

| Amy Arvey Avery Clark Two heads are better than one, but four is trouble
"See! I told you it was a human and look what it is!" "And a deer too, don't just say you're rig when I was right too!" "Hard to smell when you're trying to keep your body fed, like we're supposed to be doing!" "Why not eat the human, the deer, and the dragon while we're at it?" Clark finally snapped, hissing lowly and the other three head silenced themselves while Clark had listened to the human offering help. "We need help, yes." "Who are you to make that choice?" "You're no more in charge if this body than the rest of us!" "Let's just stop arguing-" Amy ignored Avery and her triple split mouth opened and snapped as she glared at the nightfury, "I'm sorry I couldn't hear your comment, Woukd you like to step closer and repeat it?" "Enough! Shut up all of you I can't take it anymore!" He hung his head and nodded to Hiccup, "At this point it's accept your help or throw ourselves off a cliff. I'd much rather have help. How do you plan on... fixing this?" He asked as the dragon struggled to step forwards, and he nodded towards Avery, who started to eat the deer, which Arvery and Amy then tried to fight over behind their body. "Amy is the violent one. Arvey is the other male head, Avery is the other female. I am Clark."

It was fairly easy to see right off the bat which two heads seemed to be causing the most troubles, and the gears in Hiccup's head were quickly turning when he tried to figure out exactly how one might approach this situation, it was going to be a difficult process, but not impossible. He didn't look put off when one of the female sounding heads mentioned eating him and Toothless, only staring levelly at her, "you have piss poor manners, you know." He stated flatly, "I can see where most of the problems here come from." He cringed when they all seemed to snap at the one head that seemed to be the most logical, and he made a decision now that he should probably be the one calling the shots...Now to convince the others of this.
Toothless gave a dismissive huff to the veiled threat from one of the heads, turning tail to go and watch from a distance, mostly amused by this rather ridiculous situation. Hiccup on the other hand, could see exactly how severe this was, especially upon the less contrary head's outburst, "that wont be necessary." He gave a gentle smile, coming to rest a reassuring hand on Clark's nose, "the only way I'm going to be able to fix this is by giving the other two an attitude adjustment, but I've dealt with vikings in my time that are twice as stubborn as they are, so I think I can fix this."
He'd been dealing with Snotlout bucking him every step of the way before, of course this situation was wildly different, but if he could demand respect from Berk's most stubborn men...He nodded as Clark explained their names, "alright Clark, I'm getting the feeling Amy and Arvey are the biggest issues here, right?" He rose a brow, eyeing the two in question, "Imagine being this self destructive, I mean really." He pointed an accusing finger up at Amy, "you especially, I've seen Snap Trappers live with only three heads before, you know." He narrowed his eyes, glaring up at her, "you're not going to scare me. I've stared down dragons ten times your size. You've got a mean bite but so do I, you hear me?" He glared hard up at her, waiting to see her response. | Amy Arvey Avery Clark Two heads are better than one, but four is trouble Clark was heavily amused at Hiccup's threat, closing his eyes for a moment and accepting the gentle touch of the humans hand against his nose. Amy meanwhile went to eat Hiccup, though her neck fell short and she ended up snapping her two jaws shut tight, just before him as he was out of range. Arvey hissed lowly while Avery watched in horror. Clark of course knew very well that Hiccup was just out of bounds, and turned to snap at her, though she quickly submitted and turned to look away, seething as smoke poured from her nose in a series of angry snorts, "I won't let them lay a claw or tooth on you."
"Thats not what you said to the last human." "Because Arvey ate him." "Don't blame me for us eating a human." Clark rolled his eyes and shook his head, bringing his face back down to Hiccup's level, "If you really think talking will work then I'm all for it."
"I'm willing to listen I suppose." "Keep bringing deer and I might." The three heads then turned to Amy, who snarled at them.
"Three against one." The large body of the dragon sat down uneasily, the three heads perked to listen while Amy looked ready to strike if the boy came within range.

Hiccup only made an amused face himself when Amy went for him, quirking a brow at the most temperamental of the four and wrinkling his nose, "I told you I'm not afraid of you." He smirked and crossed his arms over his chest, eyeing her when she started to utterly pout from Clark's snapping back at her, he gave him an amiable smile, "thank you, it's alright though, I've met toddlers on Berk more scary than her." He eyed her pointedly as he said this, fixing them all with a curious expression as they seemed to bicker amongst themselves for a moment, before most of them came to some sort of agreement to listen to him, it was a comfort, that at least three of them had some sense in their heads to not turn down obvious help.
"Good. That's good." He looked over at Arvey and chuckled, "I'll keep bringing you all deer, until we can figure out how to get you hunting on your own." He would ignore Amy for now, if she kept being difficult, well, he'd scolded toddlers on Berk that were scarier than her, "first things first...Who controls what part of the body?" He'd noticed before making himself known that they seemed to be having trouble walking, he couldn't imagine flying was possible either, but they would get to that soon enough. | Amy Arvey Avery Clark Two heads are better than one, but four is trouble Clark explained the difficult conversation of who did what, with what, when and glanced to the side as Amy listened in, all four heads now listening to the human, though Amy was much less eager. The promise of food did bring her attention though, and this human wasn't scared of her so she really had no choice in the matter.
"But we each control our own leg so walking is hard, and Amy and I alone control the wings, Arvey and Avery control the mist." |
