Hey all, I'm Noerd. I'm a member of ZapdosZulu, a Pokémon Roleplay Forum. Our RP is based heavily on the Heart Gold and Soul Silver games, but you won't need to have played them to enjoy your time here. Just read the rules and you'll be good to go. You'll start in New Bark Town, choosing from one of our three starters:

Yes, for some reason we give out the Kanto starters. I don't know why. You will be able to get the Johto starters through the RP, though.

We have our own original quest lines and customised Route encounters, allowing you to catch Pokémon from every generation. Each Quest and Route comes with its own detailed guide, so you'll never be lost in ZZ! And if you are, our members are friendly, welcoming and more than happy to help you out. In all honesty, the community is the main reason I stick around here myself.

Anyway, enough of the generic advertising spiel, here are a few things that set us apart:

A simple battle system! All you need to do is worry about the roleplaying and choosing attacks; the mods'll do the rest.

Trainer Shops, Bases and Nurseries! Build your own Estate, grow your own berries and go on treasure hunts! You can also breed and hatch Pokémon in your very own Nursery! And, if you feel like you've got a few too many Eggs or Berries, why not sell them in a Shop of your very own?

Casino games! Inspired by the Game Corner from the video games, we have a casino filled with fun, addictive games. Earn coins by playing the Hi-Lo game, Roulette, Connect Four or even Slot Machines!

Regular Events! We have many weekly and monthly events, including Buena's Password, Gogoat Races and lottery draws!

Join Team Rocket or the International Police Force! Each comes with its own unique set of quests and rewards.
