[attr="class","itokaytext"]He jerked his head up when she spoke about her boyfriend, wondering who the other guy had been who'd made her so nervous before, he didn't press either just yet, but muttered out a soft warning, "if you want me there when you do, just say the word." He cracked his knuckles, giving her a grin, "I might not look like much, but I can do more than people think." He gestured to his fake leg with a grin, "I could also always yank this thing off and beat him with it!" He stuck his tongue out, clearly joking, mostly, though he'd done that before when his cousin was being especially cruel to him.
He nodded eagerly when she mentioned their cats meeting, giving her a wide grin, "Yeah! Toothless tries to act like he's hot shit, but he's a bog doofus. He's fairly friendly with other cats, he's also really big, so he can handle being rough." He nodded and gestured for them to board the subway, finding them a place to sit and giving her a spot beside him, "right! I intend to keep that promise!" He pulled his phone out to check the clock, "should take about ten minutes to get where we're going!" He glanced to the side at her with a grin, "so, aside from school and shit, what sort of things do you do in your off time? Any hobbies? I never really got to ask before!" They hadn't gotten a huge amount of time before her class to talk, so he was eager to be able to get to know her better.
