Just little things to help me develope Henry, so everyone can witness how absolutely bonkers she is too// This will be updated as I discover more things about my lovely mad dragon lover~
1) Henry gropes people at random. She has a reason for doing this, mixed with your personality and size she likes to try and determine what kind of dragon someone would be. During her examines she closely looks and feels over people's face, arms, chest, legs, and sometimes the buttock if she feels she has to to get an accurate reading. Don't want her touching you? Too bad. Don't let her get her examine all at once then she'll ge through with the process of grabbing you when you don't expect it. For some reason, she only does this to males.
2) Alpha-Omega. By determining what dragon you are determines your rank above or below Henry, as her many dragon instincts influence her choices or behaviors. The only Alpha she's found so far is Hiccup, (and odly enough Guestav to some degree) so she's prone to only listen, at least halfway, to Hiccup and relatives to Hiccup.
3) Henretta does not have a hut on Dragon's edge, instead she sleeps with, or on, her, or other riders dragons. She sees herself as part of their flock and sleeping with dragons creates a stronger bond, though she respects the bond the dragons have with their riders.
4) Henretta likes to confuse people. Due to her flat chest and hair choices as well as the fact most people refer to her as "Henry," she may often be mistaken for a boy, which doesn't bother her in the slightest, but she loves to see the expressions on peoples faces when she corrects them after a month or more of someone calling her a he.
5) Henretta absolutely hates it when people spot her with her hair down, she doesn't care much for appearances but people making comments about her hair seems to set her off. She takes it down normally when she sleeps, but when she wakes up in the morning it goes right back into the normal tie up.
6) Henretta's goggles. Her goggles are the only sentimental tie she has that connects her to the family she abandoned a lifetime ago, her mother bought them from Trader Yohan- a gift to try and make Henretta feel better since she wouldn't have been allowed to take Gummy with her. Though that night went different, since Henretta snuck away and left her family, watching as they sailed away without her unknowingly. She doesn't regret her choice, and she never talks about how she came to be the way she is other than, "I left my tribe and joined Berk." She still wishes she could see them again someday, and wears her goggles as a daily part of her outfit. They come off at night though, when she sleeps, though she holds them tight in her fist, risk loosing them.
7) Henretta's parents are dead. While Henretta was too young to think about it at the time, wouldn't a fleet of ships turn around to look for a child they had abandoned? Or at the very least, send the parents back to look for their child? The ships never returned because when they did turn around after a day of travel they were thrown off course and became lost, and were then raided by pirates. While Henretta one day hopes in the back of her mind to see her parents again, what she'll find instead will be the ships banked on a shore where they were ambushed, long abandoned and withered.
8) The evil smile. Henry is overall a very happy person who represses negative feelings(besides anger) quite well, but being raised by dragons for such a long time during fundamental years of human development means she has some very... off things about her. Her smile being one of those things, though it's creepy for a reason. Anyone around Henry for long enough has heard a giggle snort, or a cackle, or even her loud almost maniacal laugh. Those are creepy but no one can help how they laugh, but it's her smile that sells the sinister look. Her smile is strained, a bit too broad because dragons don't smile, not with teeth anyway, since showing your teeth is supposed to be a threatening guesture, which is why most of her excited smiles come out as a... well, a threatening guesture. The laugh is just icing on the cake.
9) Dragon Fever. If you know one thing about Henretta, it's her undying love for dragons. Her obsession for these scaled creatures drove her to abandon her tribe on Berk at the age of five, which then at the time it was just the adventerous imagination of a child telling her to go off and enjoy her dragon best friend, but living with that thought that only dragons are your friends and only they understand you for five years, while being raised with dragons, would lead anyone to an obsession. She has so much she owes to these creatures, for "setting her free" as she claims it, she wants to love and care for dragons as they love and care for her, regardless of size or color or personality, every dragon is important to her.
