he royal district is an area that is closest to where an attack would be planned. Safety is what the royal court and chief give up in turn for having power. Although you wouldn't think it would be placed within a dangerous place by looking upon it. The entire area is walled in with volcanic rock built with gronckle lava and provides an ample fortress around the entire isle. The royal district contains a second layer of walling made of limestone with several entrances and exits all lined with cobble walkways and carriage passageways. The royal district itself is separated into different areas itself, all being classed by wealth.
The entire royal district is encased within the walls of the citadel, the towering walls thick and imposing upon any who gaze upon them. The walls are made of limestone with large military unit stations bordered along the edge as well as archer and scout lookout windows throughout the wall. Guards and military officers are known to reside within the barracks and towers that are contained within the walls. Several battle stations for war horses, war dragons, and training arenas are held within small U shapes that spread outwards from the secondary wall.
The royal district itself is rather small but spacious. There is the chiefs castle, the royal conclave manors, as well as several servant and slave houses. The entire area is filled with flora compared to the housing and working districts. Slave labor, ravines, and other natural lakes are used to keep the area green with grass and plants gathered from the Isle of the Hunt as well as plants found on the Isle of the Living are grown in decorative ways throughout the properties. Each manor is fenced off with limestone fencing or wood fencing, the castle having a small limestone wall that surrounds the large property. Fountains and other luxury areas decorate the royal district in unique ways pertaining to each household.
The Royal Castle is where the chief as well as any guests that arrive within his honor reside. The entire castle is three floors and is decorated with stained glass, several bedrooms for servants, the chiefs bloodline, and guests. Outside of the castle is a large horse stable as well as a large dragon stable. A hatchery lies within the far corner of the property (due to the explosive nature of dragon eggs) and contains a small breeding pen off to the side of it. Small farmland decorates the property as well as several slave houses that dot the landscape. There is a large garden that houses a large fountain and grows medicinal herbs, small crops as well as decorative plants.
