PERSONALITY TRAITS ✔ Arrogant, Awkward, Zealous, Self Conscious, Over Achieving LIKES/DISLIKES ✔ Meat, Flirting, Hookfang, Flying, Working Out ✖ Laziness, Hesitation, Being Wrong, Disappointing Others, Failure FEARS Failing, Spitelout, Allodoxaphobia OVERVIEW Although he appears to be a pretentious bastard 95% of the time Snotlout is actually a very complex guy. Most know him as the bully who loves hitting on all of the gorgeous babes (since of course they all want a piece of him, after all who can resist such raw vikingness that only he has?) He has a dark secrete, and that is the fact that he actually doesn't like the idea of hooking up with a woman, or a guy for that matter. He doesn't like the idea of anything further than flirting. It just isn't his favorite activity in the world, the act doesn't disgust him but it certainly isn't the best thing in the world. He realized this little secrete once Astrid starting flirting back at him. It was all fun and games until that happened, he liked flirting banters but when someone takes them seriously then it starts to get awkward for him. This makes him a little awkward in social situations despite his arrogance. Another thing that might shock the people he knows (if he ever told them) would be that he's extremely self conscious with case of allodoxaphobia, the phobia of opinions. Because opinions always leave room for potential failure, which his father has ingrained into him as something that the Jorgenson family never experiences. He tries not to let peoples opinions bother him, but it always makes him flustered and can really hurt him if a bad opinion is spread around. On the opposite end of the spectrum when he receives a compliment it makes him beam. Confidence is everything to him and that attitude brings on a zealous mindset that lets him do anything he puts his mind to. Most of the time. His father scares him more than anything else in the world for a multitude of reasons. The first is disappointing his father, his fathers rants on how Hiccup was the most useless one in the village and the anger he showed at it made this fear grow inside Snotlouts heart. He fears the day that raging disappointment flashes across his fathers face at something he had done. The second is failing his father, whether it be in finding a wife or losing a battle it still stems from not wanting to disappoint his father. Lastly is the physical abuse, its not excessive but its enough to make him flinch slightly whenever someone moves a bit to fast towards him. The verbal threats are more common, the innuendo on what to do and how to fix things given as commands by his father more than enough to spur Snotlout into action even against his better judgment. So far he hasn't told anyone about his inner workings, not trusting anyone and not knowing that what his father does is something wrong. | Hookfang CLASS Stoker GENDER Male SPECIES Monstrous Nightmare APPEARANCE Hookfang is a monstrous nightmare of a flaming red and copper hue. Soft golden tones run through his scales as well but are less predominant. Large spiraling horns come from the dragons head and are black in color. Yellow and red tinted irises are the most striking feature about the dragon besides its nasty attitude. |
