My name's Hiccup...
The Pride of Berk
...Great name, I know.
Hiccup couldn't seem to find it in him to be angry about this, perhaps it was because of his own inquisitive mind that had led him to his own string of experiments, mainly on himself more so than on other people, but he could appreciate and understand the need to know and to learn. Many of the inventions he'd built hadn't been without their less successful prototypes after all, he couldn't help but call back to the less than successful renditions of his flight suit that had landed him with a broken arm before. It was this thought that left him less angry than he should have been and he eventually sighed in defeat as he leaned to take the offered fish with a thankful nod, "I get it." He mused as he ate, "I get the feeling you wouldn't have given me anything that might have killed me...I hope..." He let out a wry laugh at this, "I understand needing to learn, the easiest way to do that is by trying and doing."
The Night Fury trilled out a thankful sound to the Zippleback as he leaned to eat what had been offered to him, Hiccup shrugged and chuckled softly, his own appetite probably double what it might have been after the long flight here and everything that had happened, "it's fine. I forgive you." He looked thoughtful as he considered her question, "Berk is probably one of the most miserable places to live as far as weather, when it isn't snowing it's raining." He leaned back against the Night Fury's side, looking a bit fond, "we're a fishing village, it's grown a lot in the last few years, more accommodating to dragons and their riders." He let out a soft sigh, "it wasn't that long ago that our chief, my father Stoick the Vast was killed." He glanced down, "which put me in charge...I wouldn't want to live anywhere else, even if disaster is common place, it's home." He was careful as he considered his next words, "it could be your home, if you wanted, we could use someone with knowledge of real medicine." Gothi worked wonders, but much of her methods relied on old wives tales and stories, he figured the offer wouldn't hurt.
