@tagged "Hiccup" Thoughts "Toothless" I am not throwing away my shot Toothless popped up out of the water with a fairly dramatic splash, clearly pleased to feel the ebb and flow of the fluid lapping around his scales, Hiccup put his arms up to shield himself from the wave that came off the Night Fury, splashing him back, "stop being a show off!" He grinned, then turned his attention back to the Skrill pacing anxiously at the water's edge, "water can be dangerous, there's no doubting that, we vikings learn that the hard way, when the storms wreck our vessels." Toothless knew that she wouldn't pick up the words the same way he would, given how long he'd been around humans, so he came closer to the shore, "when you're learning how to fly, if you don't spread your wings in time, the ground below will claim you, it will crush you and end you."
He tilted his head, "swimming is not terribly different from flying, there's just less sky and more wet." He looked to the side, at Hiccup, "his people are fishers, vikings sail, and sometimes the water sinks their ships and they die," he rumbled softly, "but they know that if they understand the water, the water will work with them, not against them." He swam out a little farther, calling back, "the lake has no undertow as the sea does, so you wont be sucked under." Hiccup looked from the Night Fury, to their new friend with a smile, "we're here, and we wont let you drown." He glanced back as Toothless made his way back to the shore, stretching a wing over the Skrill, he didn't push or pull her, it was more a gesture of gentle reassurance that they were both there, expressing his rider's words in a language anyone could understand.
Hiccup's eyes were thoughtful as he looked around them, putting together ideas in his head, "what if we tried a raft...Something that'll float...So she can be in the water without the worry of sinking?" It was a stretch, and would take some effort with very little building supplies, but he was willing to put fourth that effort to help her get off this miserable rock that she was trapped on. He had a feeling she'd never been shown much kindness before, if the marks that marred her scales were anything to go by, he wanted to show her that she didn't have to be alone. MADE BY SUNBUNS

I AM A FOREST OF DARKNESS, WITH SHADOWS FOR LEAVES BUT HE WHO IS BRAVE ENOUGH, WILL FIND ROSES UNDER MY CYPRESSES "I know... I know, but I.. I can't escape this. I don't even understand why I'm so afraid anymore, It just takes my breath and squeezes my heart and I can't--"
She huffed, relief washing over her form and making her shoulders relax as he swam closer. She noticed Hiccup talking again, but, again, understood very little, only that he was trying. Gratitude swept over her, and she thought for a minute, before coming up with a semi-plan.
"What if I... hovered over the water? Maybe that will help, since I'm most afraid of flying over it. At least, if I become comfortable flying over it, I'll be able to get away from here. And then you'll have more materials to help me overcome the fear itself?"
She suggested hesitantly, taking a step back from the mud that she had just realized encompassed her frontal claws. She looked at the sticky substance, disgusted, but not as bad as the water itself. The thought of simply hovering over a still lake terrified her, but the comforting wing Toothless gave her made her slightly more reassured. At least she wouldn't die if she fell... She hoped.
Taking a step back from both her companions--so she didn't end up hitting them--she reared up, stretching out her massive wingspan and marring the sunlight filtering faintly through the fog. Her stretch revealed the lighter coloring of her underwing, with spots of darker blue in an odd pattern breaking into the lighter area of color. She needed to expand her wings, her foreclaws were tiring from not being used to holding her weight without wing and wind to help, and she figured they'd need to be prepped if the duo liked her idea.

@tagged "Hiccup" Thoughts "Toothless" I am not throwing away my shot He couldn't help the pang of understanding and sympathy he felt for his fellow dragon right now, he understood what it felt like to feel trapped, even if his own stint trapped on the ground had been short lived thanks to Hiccup, there had still been a period where he'd been convinced that he would die grounded and trapped in some gorge, he couldn't imagine feeling resigned to that fate forever, "you can, Kiara, you can because we're here to make sure that you can." Toothless gave a reassuring nudge to her side, watching her carefully, "when I was a hatchling, I was a late bloomer when it came to flying, I felt the same thing as I looked over the edge of a cliff." He huffed through his nose, "I didn't have anyone to tell me that I wouldn't hit the ground, but I jumped, and sure enough my wings snapped open and the inherent instinct took over." He looked out over the water, "Skrill may not mix well with water, but every living thing has an inherent instinct to swim."
He backed off a little when she spoke and nodded, "That sounds good." He gave a low rumble, a dragon's version of a chuckle, "that is how Hiccup and I learned to fly together, mmm a rather...Unique process." He liked her idea though, and returned to the water to start nudging the rider out, getting complaining sounds from the viking, "hey hey...Okay! I'm getting out!" He laughed, shoving at the Night Fury playfully as he watched the Skrill carefully, curious what the two reptiles might be planning between themselves. This worked, he supposed, there were things he couldn't convey that Toothless clearly could, and if it took him reassuring her in ways he couldn't, he would help where he could.
His eyes widened in an impressed expression when she stretched her wings out fully, "beautiful..." He smiled and stepped back to stand beside Toothless, gesturing to her to let her know that she could approach this however she felt was best, Toothless gave a reassuring nod, "he doesn't quite understand your plan, but he wants to see what you have in mind." He rumbled, "he'll get the idea when you try it, and help where he can." MADE BY SUNBUNS

I AM A FOREST OF DARKNESS, WITH SHADOWS FOR LEAVES BUT HE WHO IS BRAVE ENOUGH, WILL FIND ROSES UNDER MY CYPRESSES She snapped her large wings closed once she could feel them again, giving a few experimental sweeps low to the ground before they were fully folded against her side. Her form fell forward, landing again on her talons, before she glanced at the water, hesitating again. The clear liquid everyone loved to play in looked so... deadly to her, and it bothered her that she was so bothered by it.
"Here..... Here I go I guess."
She said carefully, pulling herself along until her talons sunk partially into the mud again. She winced at the sticky earth, but ignored it, expanding her wings again as she reared up and used her hind legs to push her into the air, her wings smoothly cutting through the oxygen mixture and pushing her farther up, until she was hovering over the bank, her movements causing her talons to brush the water on the edge of the lake, making her shoulders and face flinch in fright.
"Y-you're sure about this?"
She called out weakly to Toothless, her wing movements slow and dragging, to keep her heavy body airborne. Fear crept into her mind, but she looked at the pair standing near the water, and forced herself to calm down, before looking back at the water, edging closer but not fully going over the water that stretched in front of her form.

| | Hiccup was putting the riding gear back on Toothless when he saw the Skrill stretching her massive wings, looking impressed by the size, she was striking when fully spread out like that, it reminded him that he was lucky to even be standing here. She could have easily killed him when he first stepped into her cave...When he managed to get the Night Fury's equipment back on, he patted his head, "why don't you go up there and help?" He spoke as he moved to lock the tail piece into place, giving Toothless the mobility and freedom to fly on his own now, "I'll keep an eye on you both from down here, alright?" He figured it would be easier if things went south for them to be separate, one watching from below, and one from above.
Toothless nodded in response to his rider's words, looking back up at her, "I'm sure. You're doing fine." When he was sure the prosthetic was locked into place, Hiccup patted his tail, stepping back into the water to be there in case anything happened, "I'm here if either of you fall, don't worry. Just focus on Toothless." The Night Fury nodded and was up and hovering a few feet in front of her, green eyes watching her's closely, "he's down there if anything happens, but focus on me." It always felt odd now, flying without the weight of his rider on his back, it was an invention that hadn't been necessary, but he supposed it proved useful in the end...Most of his rider's contraptions did.
The Night Fury watched her carefully as he got a bit further out over the water, still keeping his eyes locked on her's carefully, "watch me, okay? Just focus on my eyes, don't look down no matter how much you want to." Hiccup couldn't help the spark of hope, this was progress, even if it was slow, it was still a huge step in the right direction.

I AM A FOREST OF DARKNESS, WITH SHADOWS FOR LEAVES BUT HE WHO IS BRAVE ENOUGH, WILL FIND ROSES UNDER MY CYPRESSES The skrill hesitated again, before pushing with her wings again, and letting herself hover further over the body of water with a soft sigh, her eyes locked on Toothless'. She never let her gaze stray, even when she was flinching at the water droplets, disturbed by her beating wings, that were splashing at her heels. Her face was set in determination, and she blinked slowly, swallowing hard as her gaze wavered downward.
Her eyes glimpsed blue, and she forced herself to snap her gaze back to Toothless', not letting her seizing fear control her. She was done with this cripple, and she knew if she didn't do anything soon, staying here would kill her.
So she flew over the water, meeting Toothless in the middle, reassurance that those who actually cared were around here, ready to help if she needed it.
"I... I'm doing it!"
She crooned happily, blinking again and looking at Hiccup before flicking her eyes back up to the dark dragon in front of her, finding his rider was a bit too close to the water.
"I'm getting away from here! Away from my prison!"
She crowed out, flapping quicker and doing a quick turn, eyes closed, before settling back down, the air around her suddenly unsure.
"Unless you have to leave? I guess I have taken all of your day..."
Her tone was slightly sad, but full of understanding, and she offered the party of two a weak chirp, and smiled slightly.
"I know it must be hard to stay out here all day with such a big dragon. Your rider must be scared I'll eat him."
She chuckled weakly, shivering at the memories of the other humans. She was still slightly suspicious of Hiccup, but she was much more comfortable around him now.
"You two must have friends waiting on you."
It dawned on her, and her speech suddenly became anxious and slightly stressed.
"Oh my goodness! I've taken your entire day, and you might have other stuff to do! I'm so sorry."
Came her whine, and she frowned quickly, sad that the two would probably have to go soon.

| | The rider in the water couldn't help a moment of joy as he realized that this was working, it would be a process before she was able to fly long distances over water, he knew this, but this was probably more progress than she would have gotten anywhere else, and he was glad that they could bolster this kind of confidence in her. He followed along beneath her as she flew out further over the water, watching her and Toothless carefully, though he was unable to touch bottom, treading water as he did. Toothless cast a careful look down at his rider, only to make sure he was okay as well, he knew Hiccup was not the strongest swimmer with that solid metal leg, but when he saw the man doing okay, he turned his focus back to Kiara, "Yes! We knew you could do it!" He trilled excitedly, following her back to shore and landing neatly beside her, he felt the unease as well, looking back when Hiccup came to shore, shaking out his hair and body like a wed dog, "well a few more days of doing that and I think we can get you flying between some of these little islands!" This whole territory was dotted with them, arching, high cliffed sea stack islands, with stretches of open air between them, and ocean beneath, if they could work up to that, then the open water wouldn't seem nearly as intimidating. Toothless tilted his head at her when she seemed to become suddenly anxious, "Hiccup is going to stay until he gets you off of this island." He reassured, resting a wing over her back, "I can tell, I know him, we wont depart until you are free." As if on cue, Hiccup appeared around her other side, resting a very gentle, reassuring hand against her neck, "we're going to help you off this island, if it takes a whole month to do it." He knew she couldn't catch his words the same way Toothless could, but he figured his dragon could bridge that gap well enough. He let out a soft warble of laughter, "and he isn't afraid of you, Hiccup trusts you, he knows you wont eat him." Toothless gave a soft nudge, urging them back to the cave, "it's late now, we should return to the cave, I can find a proper meal." He pulled away, urging her to go with just Hiccup while he did as he said, figuring it might build trust between them. Hiccup looked back as Toothless backed towards the river, carrying his gear in his arms rather than putting it all back on. His lack of armor put him at a disadvantage, but it would be more comfortable, and he figured it would show that he trusted the Skrill not to hurt him. "Hiccup" - "Toothless" | |

I AM A FOREST OF DARKNESS, WITH SHADOWS FOR LEAVES BUT HE WHO IS BRAVE ENOUGH, WILL FIND ROSES UNDER MY CYPRESSES Kiara purred at the comforting contact on her neck, before letting out a shrill whistle at Toothless' departure, resting easily on her claws and looking down at Hiccup, tilting her head.
'I suppose it would be useless to talk now. I'm not his dragon, he can't understand my warbles as well as he understands Toothless.'
She thought with a heavy sigh, before she offered the resemblance of a smile, and chirped again, swishing her long spiked tail harmlessly behind her, only maybe taking out a few bushes in the process. She nosed towards the cave, whistling again, and hesitated, deciding to help him out a little since he had been so generous to her. It had to be hard to walk on a metal leg that had just been doused with water, and she frowned slightly, before swallowing hard, and offering another slight smile to the small human.
The skrill fae sighed softly, and bent her neck and head down, leaving a clear area for Hiccup to climb onto the crook of her neck and shoulders. She figured a lift was in order, since his dragon had taken off to find food.
The large dragon warbled at Hiccup, purring reassuringly. She wouldn't eat him... as long as he didn't throw a spear at her.
She watched him carefully. This would be an experience for both, Kiara because she had never been ridden before, and wasn't sure how well she'd do with the sudden extra weight--although she was sure she'd be fine. Her wings carried her fine, and she wasn't exactly light--and she was sure this little human hadn't been close enough to touch a skrill safely before, let alone ride it. She hoped she didn't appear threatening, but it was hard, with such a big body. She frowned slightly, chirping lowly.
'Sometimes I wish I was a smaller species. I don't think I was meant to be so big with my personality.'
She grumbled to herself, watching Hiccup carefully. She had to give him some form of trust, and she figured offering a ride was trustworthy enough, even for her species.

| | He glanced up and met her eyes with a smile, it was a little harder to communicate without Toothless to act as a bridge, but he'd always felt that it was easier for him to understand dragons through body language and expression than most people, even if he couldn't understand her but her small sounds and friendly glanced told him enough, enough to know that she at least trusted him a little bit. He hated the thought of anyone ever having hurt a gentle giant like this, eyes trailing over to where he knew a scar sat against her side, "you can't understand me, but that's alright, we'll figure each other out, right?" He chuckled softly, noticing that smile that only a dragon could pull off, undoubtedly friendly, but he was sure some people found it intimidating. He looked surprised when she stopped and suddenly bent lower, understanding the gesture and looking more than a little surprised to be given the offer. It wasn't anything that polish and cleaning wouldn't fix, but the combination of thick, wet much and water did make the mechanisms creak and stick a bit, so he rested a hand on her neck reassuringly before climbing up and onto the crook where he wouldn't be terribly uncomfortable to her, "thank you." There was a genuine gratitude in his voice, edge by a slight eagerness at being on the back of such a magnificent dragon. It wasn't the first time he'd been on a Skrill's back, but he didn't exactly consider being escorted by Dagur with his leg broken to be a positive experience. This was much nicer. "you'd like it on Berk." He was speaking half to himself, knowing she would only pick up some words, "Berkians live in harmony with dragons, you could make a home out in the wild forests, with a whole village that would welcome you." He'd picked up a need for companionship from this dragon, simply by how willing to let them both in she seemed, he'd jump at the thought of showing her that humans could be her allies, rather than her enemies, he was sure the village would enjoy her presence, even if the sight of a Skrill was shocking at first, it was one instance where the weight of his words held them...He was still shaky on a lot of aspect of being a chief, but when he spoke to them about dragons. They listened. He'd been running a reassuring hand over the back of her neck as they walked, lifting it to point out the cave, "hehe, home sweet home. At least for now." "Hiccup" - "Toothless" | |

I AM A FOREST OF DARKNESS, WITH SHADOWS FOR LEAVES BUT HE WHO IS BRAVE ENOUGH, WILL FIND ROSES UNDER MY CYPRESSES She looked at him with a hum of content, twisting her neck to peer at the smaller creature seated on her back, before turning and setting off.
At once she felt it. The awkward waddle she moved along the isle floor with happened to pinch his leg between her upper rib and wing, and she knew it wasn't comfortable to him if it wasn't for her. She huffed quietly, knowing that the cave wasn't far off, but was still a good ten minute fly, let alone walk. It often deceived those who saw it in the distance, the mouth was quite big--it housed a skrill after all--so it often appeared closer than it actually was. But Kiara, having lived on this retched isle for longer than most, knew better.
After giving an experimental chirp, she lifted onto her hind legs gently, so as to not unseat Hiccup, and flapped her wings a few times, testing how that felt. The more natural movement felt much better, on both of them she suspected, and she chirped again swiftly, giving a powerful, but gentle, sweep with her wings, making the pair go airborne.
Once she got into the air, and above the trees she was quite familiar with, she leveled out, smoothing out her flight and beating her wings as little as possible, to make sure the person riding her wouldn't be hurt or uncomfortable. A soft warble left her throat, and she peered at him again as she listened to his speech, only understanding bits and pieces, but picking up the general idea that wherever he wanted to take her, she would be safe and happy.
She let out a contented sigh, wishing for that to come true. She'd give everything he had to be happy, and not in constant fear of the water surrounding her. She focused on him talking only half to her, and sailed smoothly towards the cave at a slow, and comfortable speed, only moving her wings gently when her talons clipped the treetops.
After the ten minutes, she landed as gently as a huge skrill can, trying to shake the ground as little as possible, and crouching to absorb the sudden touchdown so Hiccup wouldn't have to. Once safely grounded, she twisted her head again, chirping curiously and lowering her head once more, to allow him to move off of her if he wished. Then she thought quickly, and raised herself up again, carefully waddling into the cave with as little discomfort to the both of them that she could manage.
Then she lowered her head once more, sighing softly as she made a safe passage off her massive back for him, she figured it wasn't easy moving with the squeaky prosthetic connected to his leg, and she was really, really trying to help him in any way. She owed him way more than this, but with her fear, this was the best she could offer in the present moment.

| | He felt the uncomfortable pinch when she walked, less so for him, but he imagined it couldn't have felt very good for her, being unused to having anyone on her back like this. He almost slid off when he felt her move, his eyes widening when she reared up and he held on with his arms gently around her neck as she went airborne, feeling that familiar thrill of adrenaline as his stomach flipped. He was used to being locked in and secure on Toothless, there was something thrilling about this kind of flying, doubly so when he was on the back of something so massive like this Skrill was, every beat of her wings felt incredibly powerful, he was surprised at how easily she seemed to settle in to having a rider, only cementing in the fact that she was a dragon meant for companionship, he had a lot of notes to write down, that was for sure. It took no time at all before they touched down gracefully, and he readied himself to slip off her back when she lowered herself, until they were moving again. When she finally crouched to let him off, he was gentle as he dismounted her, reaching a hand to run along her scales, "that was...Wow..." He chuckled, looking her over, "you're amazing." He breathed out the word before moving to set his equipment down, "I'm going to go find some wood for a fire, okay? I wont go far, and Toothless should be back soon." He assured, before turning to disappear into the brush. Toothless came back with a mouthful of fish at about the same time as Hiccup with a bundle of good firewood, which he knelt down to begin arranging, "hey Toothless, good fishing?" The Night Fury crooned out a reply before dropping his catch, enough for the three of them, he turned to Kiara with a thankful nod of his head, "thank you for seeing my rider safely back, he often refuses to admit when he has trouble with that leg, stubborn man." When Hiccup had the fire pet ready, he gestured for Toothless to light it up, which he did with a gentle blast from his mouth. With the soft glow of the fire, Hiccup could finally detach his leg, bringing a small bottle of oil out with a brush as he started to clean it off, watching the two dragons curiously. Toothless moved to lay behind the man, giving him a place to lean against his body as he turned to look at Kiara, "you should come back to Berk with us. When we depart this place, it's safe there." He rumbled softly, "there are miles of wild forests and caves, and the villagers live in harmony with our kind." He tilted his head, "it would suit you better than living alone. And they would all protect you." He'd picked up the same thing that Hiccup had picked up, that she seemed to not like being alone, and he'd grown attached himself anyway, saying goodbye to a new friend would hurt. I AM A FOREST OF DARKNESS, WITH SHADOWS FOR LEAVES BUT HE WHO IS BRAVE ENOUGH, WILL FIND ROSES UNDER MY CYPRESSES Kiara hummed pleasantly at the awed speech Hiccup gave, she was sure it was some soft of compliment.
The skrill settled in, getting as comfortable as she could in the smaller space. She didn't mind the company at all, it would just take some getting used to. But it was an adjustment she was willing to make.
She waited patiently for her newfound friends to return, tucking her legs under her and letting her front claws stretch in front of her, wings neatly folded. When both returned at the same time, she purred while watching them work, internally complimenting the smooth teamwork.
"It was nothing. I simply heard the squeak of that contraption, and figured out that he used it to walk. It's the least I could do, with the help you two have given me... Though, I cannot promise that the ride was a hundred percent comfortable, especially when I attempted staying grounded at first."
She rumbled back to the night fury, gratefully accepting the food. It had been a while since she had a decent meal like this, and even longer since anyone shared a meal with her, so she, again, was immensely grateful for everything they were doing for her.
"I'd... like that. Especially if they can get over that I'm.. well.. a skrill."
She chirped, chuckling with a soft rumble. She'd love the company, and enjoy not being separated from her friend. Perhaps she'd make more friends, even.
"Well then. I guess I should shoo away this phobia faster, then. Wouldn't want to keep you from your friends, and his."
She nosed at Hiccup for the last part, relaxing her shoulders and finally letting all her guard down around them, sinking fully to the ground. If Toothless was comfortable with letting Hiccup so close, and Hiccup was comfortable shedding all his armor to show her he was harmless, she would trust them.

| | Toothless nodded as he curled his tail around his Rider a bit, the end twitching back and fourth contentedly as his breathing became much softer and more relaxed, he turned to watch Kiara as she spoke, nodding, "it's been a fair good years, it probably needs to be replaced, but he is tragically sentimental." He chuffed in an amused sound, watching the man test the part to make sure it was not longer squeaking and creaking before re-attaching it, "he lost that leg fighting the Red Death. The queen." He purred out, a little hint of pride in his tone, "he's small, and many underestimate him, but I've never seen anyone as brave and foolhardy as he is." He glanced back over at her, "if anyone can help you, he can, and he wont leave this island until he does." He let out an amused sound at that and shook his head, "I'm sure he found the ride quite thrilling! Having never ridden on a Skrill like that before." Their encounters with skrill in the past had been a mixed bag, but he new Hiccup wouldn't have held that against her no matter what had happened, "Hiccup will tell them you're safe, they'll listen to him." He wanted to reassure her that she would be okay there, and he was positive that he was right, and that Hiccup would be able to quell any fears the villagers might have. Hiccup chuckled when she nosed him, reaching a hand to run over her scales fondly, "you look like you're feeling much more relaxed." He could see the tenseness leave, and the whole atmosphere around them settled into a calm that he'd never expected to feel in the presence of a Skrill. He was glad for this though, reaching for the book he'd been writing in earlier so that he could continue making notes and sketches, Toothless looked back up at her, "he's fascinated by you, he's never been so close to a Skrill before, he's filled several pages with sketches already." Hiccup watched her curiously, already planning out what shape a saddle might be for a Skrill, he didn't plan to force the idea onto the dragon, but should she bond with another...Well it didn't hurt to have a design in mind. I AM A FOREST OF DARKNESS, WITH SHADOWS FOR LEAVES BUT HE WHO IS BRAVE ENOUGH, WILL FIND ROSES UNDER MY CYPRESSES Kiara purred at the attention, smiling at the two.
"The Red Death? I've never heard of the red death."
She said in awe, blinking at the wood and metal appendage again with a newfound respect.
"I feel like I would like it on your isle, from what you say. And I'm glad to be able to help your rider in some way other than the short ride, you two have offered quite a bit of your time to me, after all."
She hummed, shuffling her wings and getting more comfortable by curling against the curve of the cave, both to give herself some comfort in her position, and to give her companions some room. She knew her massive size made it difficult for all of them in the cave, but she did her best to keep everyone comfortable.
She shifted again, glancing between the two. She let out a soft huff, blinking and thinking back to the day before. She hadn't thought anyone would come to cure her fears and help her off her prison.
"Say. How often does your rider help stray dragons like myself? Isn't it tiresome?"
She asked her question cautiously, watching the pair with curious eyes.

| | The dragons gaze turned down at the memory of that day, as good as it was horrific, "the Red Death was a dragon the size of a mountain, she was holding sway over all of the dragons in the area." He snorted, "she was a danger to human and dragon alike, she was consuming those who couldn't bring enough to feed her." His eyes lifted again and he turned his eyes to the man curled against him, he could clearly see that he was beginning to doze and curled his tail around him tighter, using the fans of his tail as a make-do blanket, "he's suffered and conquered many things, my Hiccup, but he's never lost that faith in those around him...Even when they betray him." He shook his head, turning his gaze back to Kiara, "I think you'll fit in well there, you're not meant for solitude, for loneliness." He crooned softly, watching her carefully, "you'll be happier with friends all around you, we can watch your back, and you can watch ours." He warbled out a chuckle at the question, glancing a fond look down at the man, "he doesn't rest nearly as much as he should." The Night Fury shook his head, "he helps and any all the he finds, we often fly just to spot dragons or people in distress, he's more tired than he lets anyone know." Brief concern flashed over his features, "he believes he can fix anything, all problems...Sometimes he can't...But he will work himself to exhaustion trying." He snorted, "foolish, but admirable." He knew how Astrid worried, and he knew how good Hiccup was at hiding things, "but he will help you, he'll stay here until you are free, I can guarantee it." He shifted a little, so that the dozing viking rested in a more comfortable laying position against him, "when you're comfortable with the lake, I think he intends to have to fly between these sea stack islands, a short enough distance, but still a gap over the sea." He figured he would fill her in on his rider's plan, so she would know what was coming. "Hiccup" - "Toothless" | |
