[Sean Avrid]

Sean had spent he night at Hiccup's home after the long journey back from his rescue. He wasn't sure how Hiccup had been planning to recover bodices from the depths of the sea, so he had told him not to bother himself with it. They loved the ocean anyways, that's where their final resting place deserved to be. When he and the rest of the Haddock household started to stir he made them breakfast, a new dish he had come up with in an instant to distract him from the fact he would have to go home to an empty house later that day... and that he had lost his second set of parents to the unforgiving waters of the oceans. While cooking he refused to bring up the nights of before, and focused entirely on his "breakfast casserole" which was just a bunch of meat, eggs and such thrown into one dish.

After making enough for the household he took the extra and went to Magpie's house, wanting to be around someone who didn't know what happened already. And since his blind friend couldn't cook for himself it was a good excuse.

He knocked twice and then opened it, figuring Magpie would already know who it was since he felt like he was possibly Magpie's only friend. "Hey, I brought food." He justified himself and and sat the dish aside, doing his best to sound happy, and seeing his ginger salty friend did bring a genuine smile to his face.

[Magpie]

Magpie hadn't seen or heard from Sean in the last few days, which wasn't all that outlandish, he spent time over here often, but he also was fairly distinctly aware that he tended to be distracted with the chief frequently too, and he tried not to let that bother him...It wasn't like he blamed Sean for that, the chief was a strong person, a capable fighter, kind and brave on top of that...And Magpie was...Well...He wasn't exactly the catch of the day, he was mean, unsocialized, unversed on how most things worked. He was never unkind to Sean, but he had been before, and even if he hadn't been...He was just fairly useless...He couldn't cook, or fight, or do much of anything aside from hide in his hut and struggle his way around the village... But that didn't mean he didn't feel things, he did, he felt a lot of things for Sean, a lot of things he was always afraid to act on because those things felt useless to act on, because why would Sean even sort of want him when it was clear that he could get the same things from the chief...Sort of...Magpie was infuriated sometimes by how wishy washy the man seemed, he knew Hiccup didn't intend to, but he also knew that he was stringing the boy along...And Sean deserved better...Sean deserved someone who would love him. His head jerked up from attempting to sew a hole in one of his shirts when he heard the knock, Sniffle and Sneeze crooned a dual greeting when they saw the blonde boy slip inside, "Sean! Hey!" He smiled, meaning to set what he was doing down on the table in front of him before it clattered to the floor, "oh dammit..." He ignored it for now, getting up to cross the space and hopefully pull Sean into a hug, "I was starting to worry about you!" He smiled and brushed a hand through his hair. @tagged   "Talking"

Sean smiled at Magpie and hugged back, having to side step so that the blind ginger didn't walk right past him, but he didn't mind, "Yeah... I missed you too." He rested his face against Magpie's chest and let out a long exhale, closing his eyes as he took in the happy moment. "I wasn't supposed to be gone so long... some stuff happened but... but I'm back now so I'm okay. I'm here." He pulled away reluctantly and picked up what Magpie had been working on, "I can fix this little hole for you if you want? ... by that I mean I can take it to Serana. I'm a good cook but clothes aren't in my book of house wife skills." He joked lightly and set it down.
