Henretta was lurking around Berk while Hiccup and others decorated, hiding in pushes and peeking around, trying to work on her stealth skills in case she ever needed such a thing, with a war brewing ... perhaps it was just that she enjoyed feeling like a predator watching their unknowing prey work. She smirked to herself, down on all fours as she lowered herself to the ground, her dragon beside her also acting stealthy. She crawled forwards silently, Guestav and Hiccup in her sights- as well as decorations and other people, though they weren't what interested her. Perhaps she could startle one of them, jump out and grab them from behind suddenly~?
She remained where she was instead, simply watching and waiting for an idea to come to mind, or for a moment to enact her plan to scare one of the boys. WORDS ● TAGGED ● NOTES

[googlefont="Playfair Display"][googlefont="Josefin Sans"] We Are The Reckless We are the Wild Youth Chasing Visions of our Futures [attr="class","itokaytext"]"Listen Gustav, I know you want to help here, but...I think maybe your, er, your skills would be more useful...Elsewhere..." The chief was not nearly as good at acting as the teen that was looking more than a little dejected as he was, yet again, spoken down to. What was the point of giving him the position he had if no one ever treated him with any form of respect? He didn't answer as Hiccup continued speaking, trying to pass this off as a 'scouting mission' out around the Isle of Friga, but Gustav also wasn't half as stupid as everyone seemed to take him for, he knew what this was, this was Hiccup trying to get him to go away, the same way everyone seemed to always just want him to go away.
But he nodded still, and sighed, and turned to give his dragon a reassuring pat on the nose, the Monstrous Nightmare growled out a concerned noise, clearly acutely aware that his friend was upset as he lowered his head to allow Gustav to climb up, "alright, lets just...Go get out of everyone's way..." The dragon crooned softly before pushing off and up into the air, heading in the direction of the island he was being sent to.
"Maybe I should just stay gone..." He mumbled to no one in particular, after all, if he just lived out the rest of his life on an island in the middle of nowhere, he couldn't ruin everything like he always did, right? He couldn't make messes and cause trouble, it's not like anyone would really notice he was gone, they'd probably just comment that it was nice and quiet now. Fanghook crowed out a sound that was supposed to be reassuring, and Gustav smiled a little, reaching to pat his head, "I know, big guy, I'm glad I've got you...You don't think I'm useless..." One out of an entire village was better than nothing, right?

Henry was shocked to find herself eavesdropping on such a conversation, though she understood from a point where Hiccup was coming from, but damn he was a shitty actor. Of course Henry didn't act, she'd tell you to your face that for everyone's sake take a break. With a shake of her head she gave up on stalking plans and jumped on Gummy's back, who took the hint and took off after the other rider, attempting to catch up. Henretta waved 'bye' down at Hiccup and dove down before flying up to glide next to Guestav. "A mission, huh?" She asked with purses lips, leaning her cheek on her elbow as she looked Guestav over. She smiled at the boy and turned around to sit backwards in her dragon, who flapped a few times to gain speed and place himself directly in front of Guestav and Fanghook, so she could speak with less space between them. "They do it to me on the edge too, one time they got me excited that there was a new dragon right on the edge, of course I only spent a week in the wild to scare them to get back at them for being jerks~" She said with a small laugh at the memory, sighing contently and shaking her head before he laid down on her back, upside down and looking at Guestav that way.
"What bad luck got you this time, huh?" She asked gently, knowing very well that the Viking before her was more than a little accident prone. Of course he tried it he helpful, and she saw the good from all his 'bad' luck nine times out of then. Sure he was young compared to some of the other riders, but so was she... of course, she had good luc, it was just her, "I'll do what I want!" Nature that seemed to put people off, or her touchy hands or obsessive nature over dragons and the like. She was glad Hiccup didn't mind all that though, and hopefully Guestav didn't either. She didn't normally consternation herself with opinions of others, but she liked to have friends that could tolerate her, especially when hey were looking pretty down like the small rider behind her.

[googlefont="Playfair Display"][googlefont="Josefin Sans"] We Are The Reckless We are the Wild Youth Chasing Visions of our Futures [attr="class","itokaytext"]He was surprised to hear Henry's voice as she joined him in the skies, but he didn't even try to hide his less than impressed tone as he scoffed softly, rolling his eyes, "yeah, mission, more like 'no one wants you around Gustav so get lost'...Some mission." He should be used to this by now, even after being given more trust, even after being put in charge of the Aux team, he was still treated like a pest more often than not, he was just good at shrugging it off like it didn't matter, it was easier than trying to tell everyone that he was sick of being looked down on. He sighed and gave her a half hearted smile at her words, shaking his head, "yeah, sounds about right..." He mumbled the words as he leaned forwards, resting his arms and chin on Fanghook's head and earning a gentle croon from his concerned friend.
"This time? I was trying to help set things up, and tripped, and fell, and knocked...Well just about everything over...Twice..." He sighed and shook his head, looking a bit more serious now, "I mean I guess I don't blame him, I'd send me away too." He threw his hands up a bit, looking exasperated, "I only ever seem to wreck things, good for nothing..." He huffed softly, shaking his head, "I don't mean to be a pest...I'm just not very good at doing anything else it seems." The Nightmare gave a sharp sound in protest, jerking his head to try and shake some sense into his rider, clearly knowing full well how untrue those words were. Gustav smirked down at the dragon and gave a soft laugh, "I get it! But you're also biased, Fang!" The words earned a roll of the dragon's eyes, and Gustav sighed a little, "so now I'm out here and I guess all I can do is just stay gone until this festival is over...Seems like the best thing for everyone..."

Henretta put her hands on her stomach, listening to the boy closely as her smile slowly grew as she put thought behind her words. "Forget them!" She said suddenly, jolting and sitting up, startling her dragon who thought she was slipping or about to jump even, though she just stood up on the saddle, hands on her hips as she beamed down at Guestav. "They don't know what they're missing out on! From just my examination a little bit back I could tell you've got fire to you- ... not the fire kind but the in your heart kind- ya know?" She put her goggles up on the top of her head and remained standing. "You mean good and you're funny, that's all anyone should look for in a friend. Of course, with your unusual bad luck people are bound to get aggravated~" She leaned over, almost bowing, though her foot was positioned for someone who usually took some sort of running start and then a jump. "I want to see if my good luck can cancel that out for a little while!" She said as she leaped as if some sort of frog, practically soaring over Guestav for a moment landing behind the boy facing the wrong way on Fanghook's back, howling in laughter as she did so. Gummy, meanwhile his rider was up to her usual antics, squawked angrily and fell into a glide beside Fanghook, giving an apologetic growl to the monstrous nightmare.
"Now then!" Henretta said with a snorting laugh, scooting up to where the other viking was sitting, petting the dragon's neck, "Let's head to that island Hiccup mentioned. Just because there isn't a mission doesn't mean there isn't adventure to be had! Plus I'm bored and you seem like someone who has time to entertain me~!"

| Gustav turned a smirk on her when she made a comment about fire, getting a good laugh out of that, "I've got a fair bit of actual fire too...Have you seen some of the messes I've caused?" Technically those were a joint effort between himself and his over eager Nightmare, they both tended to be fairly alike in personality, which was a recipe for disaster at any given point in time. He was surprised to see her standing when he looked over, blinking wide eyes, "uh...Yeah? Well at least someone thinks so!" He was a little nervous, but only because she had that look in her eyes like she was going to do something crazy, a look that he was familiar with since it tended to cross his own when he had a wild idea, "you're good...Wh-" He didn't get a chance to finish his thought when she suddenly leapt clear over him, right onto Fanghook's back, the Nightmare gave an alarms sound and turned his head to look at her before warbling out a laugh at the antics, which Gustav mimicked with his own laughter, "do you do that a lot?!" He felt like he knew the answer to that, given how easily she'd done it.He nodded, finding himself liking this idea of her's, "yeah, I know this island a bit." He smirked back at her as he turned their course in the direction of Friga, "it's a nice place to be stranded when no one wants you around, lots of exotic plants, and fruits, kind of paradise." He winked, "which also lends itself to a whole mess of really brightly colored dragons." They could have their stuffy festival, as nice as it would be to be included, if they wanted him out of the picture there was no reason he had to be miserable while doing that.Tagged:Henretta Choi Words: ### Notes: "Words" | |

Henry laughed when asked if she did dangerous acts often, holding a hand to her head as her other arm clutched her stomach as she laughed maniacally, and the hand on her shoulder grabbed Guestav's shoulder after a moment, "You're real cute, ya know." She managed out as her laugh became a series of snorts and giggles, "Ah, you have no idea~ I'm pretty sure I'd be the cause if Hiccup's hair started to gray!" She hugged Guestav around his upper torso, "We can go explore and play with dragons!" She beamed excitedly, resting her head on top of Guestav's head, "Don't worry about my thrill seeking personality, Gummy has it under control." The nadder snorted at that, shaking his head, to which Henry stuck her tongue out at him.
She suddenly put a hand over the boy's face and pointed down at the water below, spotting movement and green among the deep blue, of course they were a safe distance up that if the creature was hostile then they wouldn't bug it, nor could it attack, "Look, look!" She gasped, leaning over to look better herself, making Guestav turn his head to look as well, "Two scaldruns! Think there's a baby with them~?"

| He glanced back when she laughed like that, cocking a brow a little and laughing as well, it was hard not to when someone else was making such a raucous. His eyes turned back ahead though when she called him cute, and he had to try his damnedest not to let that heat reach his cheeks, it wasn't like he heard things like that often, regardless of how it was meant, it still caught him more than a little off guard, and his response to her was punctuated by a laugh that was just a little less composed, "Oh yeah? Well then he's really in trouble, 'cause y'know...Gonna get a few from me too!" He grinned, turning his eyes up to her when she rested her head on top of his, "you say that like you think I mind! It's exciting! You're not afraid to go there y'know? It's refreshing!" Of course, Hiccup could boast some reckless decisions as well, but not the same way Henry could, it was admirable how devil may care she was.He looked in the direction she pointed with a surprised expression, grinning, "well spotted! I bet they do have a baby!" He eyed her for a moment with a smirk, wondering if maybe she had the idea to find out, "you don't see Scauldrons very often, think that's a good omen?" He turned to grin at her, "we're not too far off from Friga, nothing like an impromptu camping trip, right?"Tagged:Henretta Choi Words: ### Notes: "Words" | |

Henry was a few seconds decision away from just leaping to get a closer look, but Gummy flew into position to catch her and block her view, making her huff in slight annoyance before she turned her attention back to Guestav. "Seeing any dragon is always a good omen." She pointed out and shifted to where she was sitting upright again, seeing as Gummy wasn't planning on allowing her to fall. Instead she moved her hands to rest on her hips as she looked at the island.
"Camping last notice is fun when you have a natural survivalist like me along~ Plus your leadership skills will also be useful." She pointed out and grabbed the boy's hand, resting her head on his shoulder so she could see his expression. "No one to tell you what to do or rules to stop you, sounds like my kind of vacation~! Plus I'm sure you're not as uptight about certain things like Astrid is!" WORDS ● TAGGED ● NOTES

| He smirked as he glanced down at the exasperated nadder, who was clearly more than a little used to these shenanigans, enough to know full well what was going through the wild girl's mind as he shifted his position, "can't argue with that! Might not mean smooth sailing, but that'd be boring anyway, wouldn't it?" Of course, he would prefer to avoid causing any overly dangerous mishaps if he could help it, of course, trouble tended to find him anyway, he just hoped he could avoid getting either of them hurt in the process. He tried not to dwell on that though, think positive, it was hard not to be optimistic with Henry here, he realized, she practically radiated it.
He looked surprised by her statement, shrugging it off with a laugh, "I dunno about leadership skills, but having a survivalist on board is definitely handy!" He looked down to meet Fanghook's eyes, tsking softly, "I can hardly keep my team in line with the Auxiliary Riders...Doesn't help that most of 'em are a lot older than me." He snorted softly, "especially Spitelout, he loves reminding me that I don't deserve the title I was given." He rolled his eyes, "shows what he knows, I might not be the most responsible, but I can fly circles around him...Probably a lot smarter too." He scoffed, then turned their direction to a good spot to land, "Whaaat me? I don't have an uptight bone in my body! Too tiring, worrying about every rule and command, I rely on my instincts and my guts, I pay attention to what's going on around me," He grinned back at her as they touched down, "logic and planning are Hiccup's thing, I prefer figuring things out as I go!"Tagged:Henretta Choi Words: ### Notes: "Words"

"Don't let your team stir your shit pot my friend." She said assuringly, patting his shoulder before she slid off the back of the dragon as they went in to land, Gummy in range for her to jump, which she did and landed upright on the nadder's saddle as they drew closer to land, and then she jumped again, landing upright on her feet with a happy smile, dusting herself off before she put a hand on her hip, adjusting her goggles as she looked around, "Where to start, that's always the question with these kinds of trips isn't it? What do you think, huh?"
The brunett woman hummed thoughtfully, saying something under her breath, observations of the land, as she walked in a circle around the three of the others, and then turned back to Guestav to listen to what his plan was. WORDS ● TAGGED ● NOTES

| Gustav wanted to give a fairly reasonable response to that statement, but instead he chuckled and shook his head, scratching a hand through his hair with a slightly exasperated expression, "never heard that one before, how are they stirring my shit pot? What...Is a shit pot exactly? At the risk of sounding like an idiot..." He laughed this off as watched her play musical dragons before finally coming to the ground, where he joined her a moment later.
He took a glance around from his perch on Fanghook's back before the dragon lowered his neck to let his smaller rider slide off, looking over when she asked him what he thought, "Uh..." He cleared his throat, feeling not nearly as confident in his leadership skills as she seemed to, "Well we'll be here a while right? So we should get a look around, make sure there's no one hostile sharing this island with us..." He was struggling a little bit over his words, clearly unused to being given much say, "as nice as sleeping under the stars is, we should find...A cave or something...I think the dragons would like it better." Was that a good plan? It made the most sense to him right off the bat, knowing what was going on around you was always a good idea, and it was 90% of how he operated at any given moment anyway.Tagged:Henretta Choi Words: ### Notes: "Words"

Henry hadn't really had to explain the concept before, but the words came easily to her as she smiled, hands on her hips as she came to stand infant of Guestav. "Life is messy. So I call it a pot full of crap, a shit pot. It in life the crap settles and stales and hardens and doesn't bother people anymore because it doesn't smell so bad for the time. Following me?" She asked and poked his chest lightly, "And then some jerk with a stick comes along and stirs it all up, and then you have a smelly mess all over again. They stirred your shit pot, get it? You can stir it yourself too, but when someone else does it shit goes everywhere and makes a big ol mess. They have no right to stir your pot, don't let them." She laughed softly, and as he spoke of the plan she nodded, "Sounds good to me!" She said and whistled, Gummy peeking up and tilting his head at her before she flailed her arm in a swooping guestures, and the dragon took off.
"Gummy will take a flight around our area and check, and we can look for... you said a cave right? We can look for a cave in the process." She beamed and put her goggles up on her forehead, "Lead the way~" WORDS ● TAGGED ● NOTES

| When Henry first started explaining the phrase to him, he stared with interest, but understanding flickered in his eyes in the next few moments, and he laughed, nodding along with her words and grinning, "Ha! I like it!" He hit his fist into his hand with an amused laugh and grinned, already thinking of all the ways he could use this comeback against Spitelout especially, "that'd make ol' Spitelout's head spin circles!" He chuckled, then nodded when she seemed to agree with his train of thought, gesturing for Fanghook to follow Gummy, "two sets of eyes are better than one, you go scope the area out with Gummy, okay Fang? You two look out for each other too!" The Nightmare gave an affirmative roar before following after the Nadder, leaving Henry and Gustav alone on the ground.
He shuffled a little when she urged him to lead the way, nodding before he started to walk along the cliff side, keeping an eye out for a cave that looked unoccupied that they could bed down in for a while, "we'll just have to make sure we don't find a cave that someone's already using as a home, so keep an eye out for dropped scales, or anything that looks especially fresh." He figured he didn't really need to tell her this, but she seemed to want him to take charge, so he was doing that as best as he could, "need a dry place, so we can build a fire...You probably already know all of this, huh?" He chuckled softly, shaking his head, "I don't know why you want me in charge...You've got more expertise in this are than I do..." He didn't know why she'd want him to lead in any scenario really, he was just waiting for something to go wrong.Tagged:Henretta Choi Words: ### Notes: "Words"

Henry waved as the dragon's took off, and joined her friend's side hands resting on the back of her head as she looked up at the sky while walking and listening. "It's good to have a reminder for things, that's what a leader does, whether his peers know what to do already or not. And I'm pretty forgetful so I don't mind havi a reminder." She let out a content sigh and closed her eyes for a moment, "I'm no genius but I know instinct and survival better than anyone. My instinct says to trust you, so I'm trusting you and your instinct. That clear?" She asked and opened one eye to look down at him, "You're certainly not a leader like Hiccup, but that's no a bad thing at all. If you were like Hiccup then you'd be sad and mopey... though I'm sure your self doubt would be about the same." She said mostly to herself and yawned as she dropped her hands back to her sides, giving Gustav's shoulder a friendly punch, "I can tell you're smarter than most poeple care to realize. You can be yourself around me, okay?" She turned her gaze forwards and spotted a cave in the distance, that looked rather deep, as well as a rock slide waiting to happen onto of it, though it didn't look like anything could knock it over unless a large dragon happened to swoop in to purposely lock them in.
"Let's try there?" She offered and pointed it out. WORDS ● TAGGED ● NOTES
