Alviss had finally arrived in Berk as he was greeted by the sight that was rumored about in his village, a great expanse of dragons flying around the area with people riding on them? That was certainly unexpected. However that would make his job easier since he was not here to harm any of the dragons. He did think he would have to fight originally but with the dragon riders being so friendly with the beasts Alviss did not have to worry much at all. Keeping his sword sheathed on his waist he wondered around the area looking at the different types of dragon in the village in wonder. "So the rumors were true after all." Alviss had said holding his chin in thought. "But this is more than what I had anticipated. This goes much more beyond that the mere rumor of dragons plaguing the village here. This....This is incredible!" Alviss took out a small notepad and began writing down his findings about this sight before him. "So it would seem these dragons are not plaguing Berk but are like pets to the other vikings here. My information on them must be outdated as I see many different types of dragons which we had otherwise called dangerous are being friendly with the locals here." Alviss wrote down all this as he was thinking out loud. "Right then I suppose looking around the village more would be best." Alviss said as he put his quill and notepad away then proceeded to look around more.

"It does not bother me in the slightest, Henry. Anyone who is good to their dragon is welcome around me." She said softly, crooning to the woman's dragon softly as she nodded to the man, glancing at his notepad with a knowing smile.
"Don't worry about us, take all the notes you desire. Hiccup and I maintain most of the training of the dragons here, though many help us with the task. Ah, my apologies. Hiccup is our chieftain, following his late father's death. Maybe you could see him one day, but perhaps not today, he isn't... well at the moment. So I'll be able to answer any questions you might have about the island and our practices." The blue haired girl spoke softly, formally, only smiling at Henry's antics towards the visitor. She offered a small giggle, knowing full well that her reprimanding the woman wouldn't do anything in the slightest to stop her actions.

Alviss kept writing as he would explore more of the area clearly fascinated by the dragons here. But what really intrigued him was how the dragons were so docile and accepting of their viking partners. Alviss was called to as he saw a young woman with blue hair walk towards him. "Oh hello." Alviss said almost uninterested as he was still looking at his notepad then saw the dragon behind her and perked up as he heard she was a dragon trainer. It was making sense now as he put two and two together that these vikings were now animal trainers of sort. He kept getting lost in thought of how this came to be, how did vikings who hated dragons for so long become friends with them? Alviss shook his head to exit his thoughts and looked back to her. "Kristen right? My name is Alviss I came here upon a rumor that Dragons were plaguing this island but now that I am here I have seen that is no longer the case." Alviss said as he paused and looked to the wild beast that was the dragon behind her. "It is certainly something we did not expect but as a Prospector it makes things easier for us." Alviss looked back at his notes knowing this woman Kristen would most likely want to know what they are. "Prospectors study monsters in a sense so Dragons are one of many subjects that has us interested. I came here to investigate that rumor but finding a thriving land where the dragons are at peace with the vikings makes me feel relieved." Alviss looked over to the nadder and smiled.

Henretta had been walking around town with Gummy, her deadly nadder behind her, talking excitedly with traders or simply eves dropping. Upon seeing the newcomer she couldn't help but swiftly approach, running up to the man while Gummy grumbled from irritation as he followed her. It was no secret that Henry's dragon more often couldn't put up with his rider's shenanigans, though he wouldn't leave her for the world. The woman was quick on her feet, and leaped, practically tackling this stranger as she grabbed his arms, already starting her examination. "Hey! Don't mind me, I'm Henry!" She introduced herself a little too quickly, being her usual care free and quirky self. "Welcome to Berk!" She added onto her greeting and stood back, figuring the arms were enough for now.
Her eyes turned to the woman with Blue hair and she smiled brighter, taking the goggles off her eyes and sitting them on her forehead. "Hope you don't mind me dropping in unannounced~"

As he spoke he was soon jumped by a woman who nearly tackled him and held onto his arms which for the most part felt awkward until she announced her name and where he was currently which was obvious really but she despite being rather pretty seemed a little off for the lack of a better word in his mind. "Oh uh hi." He said with a forced smile then looked at his notes then back to the blue haired woman and nodded as he heard of a man named Hiccup who took over as chieftain after he father's death. It was sad really since he did not know what it was like to lose someone that close as his parents were some of the top researchers in Cherrywood but then again Cherrywood didn't do combat training very often unless it was for weapon testing of course, but regardless Alviss nodded again and began to ask a question "Is there a reason why most of these dragons seem so calm? A lot of my previous notes on dragons had claimed that most of them were dangerous." After the question was answered Alviss then broke free of Henry's hands and rushed back to his boat. "I forgot something I will be right back!" Alviss ran to his boat and began to unload some of his supplies he had brought with him but decided to just go with a light bag filled with food he had been eating on his journey here which in truth was some of the food experiments he was supposed to try anyways to determine if they were good or not. "I still have plenty of these left but I saved some in this bag since unloading all the crates is a real chore. Here you go you two, some of our newest product from the culinary division! It is Cherry Strudel which is made a lot like pie but more for travel than just sitting at a table, though it can get messy sometimes." Alviss said as he handed one to each of the two after running back to where they were. "Oh I guess I forgot, so here's two more for each of your dragons." Alviss said getting two more from the three he had left in the bag. "Where I live cherries are one of the most bountiful of fruits we have in Cherrywood." Alviss said with a genuine smile this time.

Henretta giggled with a snort as she pulled her hands away and stood up straight, having examined enough of the boy to determine what he was... for the moment. Further investigation would be needed but perhaps for another time. She waited till the young man had come back before answering his question on why the dragons were so friendly, "They're like big ol' cats." She wound her arms around Gummy's neck to hug the navy blue dragon, and he crooned happily in response, "Wild ones just need to be fed and treated nice and they'll like you."
Upon receiving the fruit Henry curiously smelled it before taking a small nibble, expression confused as she furrowed her brows, it didn't taste bad, but it wasn't anything she had tasted before. She gave the other slice to Gummy, who happily gulped it down and stepped closer to Alviss. "Aww I think he likes you~ You haven't seen a dragon up close before, right? Why don't you pet him? Oh- I'm sure someone would be willing to let you ride with them too, how's that for a close up~?" WORDS ● TAGGED ● NOTES
