Valka has been nothing short of furious when Hiccup told her the things that... the berserker had done. Yet he also spoke of him as a friend, which would confuse any other person aside from a mother... She would have forgiven the man too, and just like her son she always wanted to make peace wherever it could be found. It was her and her sons greatest strength... and greatest weakness. They cared too much for people who had done them wrong. Out of curiousity, the woman was paying a visit to this man to examine him herself, and had even brought pastries to show good nature... though her fist tightly held the basket as CloudJumper landed, and though one or two people offered to take her dragon to the stables she refused, not because she thought he man would hurt her- or that anything bad would happen, but because she simply liked being around her dragon, and her dragon loved her the same. Without his rider CloudJumper could also be grumpy when it came to other dragons, and she didn't want a fight to break out.
