The sun was high in the sky, few clouds daring to block the heating orb as it assented higher into the sky. It was a little past noon for sure, but for rider and dragon asleep together in the stables who had been up all night, it was hardly time to be waking up. Venturing to Dragon's Edge with Hiccup had been the most fun she had with another human in a long time, since all of her previous encounters had all been with dragons. Hiccup of corse wasn't just any person, he was a fellow dragon lover. One that truely understood the bond between dragon and rider, and put up with what she knew was ... and excitesble personality to say the least. The brunett rider stirred when she realized she wasn't the only dragon she was sleeping against, grunting groggily as she woke, quickly using her hair ties to pin her hair back up, she despised people seeing her with it down, and then put her goggles back on, tightening them so they wouldn't beable to come off even if they had arms and were kicking and screaming. The mental image of that made the girl cackle under her breath, and she looked down to smile at he down dragon, as well as the other dragon that she was layer against. She pat the new dragon's head gently, as it was still sleeping as well. "Look at this tired cute that wanted some snuggles~" She said with a baby voice, Gummy squawking irrdibaly that his rider was messing with another dragon. She rolled her eyes and pet her nadder's stomach, "Don't worry, you're the only dragon for me Gummy. I can admire other little babies too though! Don't be so jealous~" The navy blue dragon didn't seem too thrilled with that, snorting as he snuggled closer against Henry, as did the other dragon, who was apperantly awake.

[googlefont="Playfair Display"][googlefont="Josefin Sans"] We Are The Reckless We are the Wild Youth Chasing Visions of our Futures [attr="class","itokaytext"]He'd been here for about a week now before he spotted Hiccup and the other rider come in to the Edge, someone the young captain didn't recognize, the chief and his dragon had been fairly eager to turn in after what he imagined was an eventful flight, but he'd lost sight of the other rider somewhere along the lines. He'd intended to say hello when they'd first landed, but then there'd been an incident with a fallen tree and a broken dock, and Gustav and Fanghook had decided that maybe they should disappear to the other side of the island for a little while, by the time they came back from their impromptu hike, Hiccup was(thankfully) asleep, and whoever had come with him was gone.
At some point in the night, said Monstrous Nightmare had decided to make himself quite content curled up with the newcomer in the stables, it was quirky to see a human sleeping here, even though his own rider often caught cat naps here with him when he didn't want to be found catching said cat naps, this one had just come and curled right up in here, and he figured he didn't want her to be terribly cold since a chill had moved in in the night, so he scooted closer to curl around her.
"Oh...You know I was wondering where you'd gotten off to!"
The teen's voice piped up from the entrance to the stables as he rose a brow in an amused expression, carrying two baskets of fish under his arms, and one strapped to his back, he usually brought breakfast to whatever dragons happened to be taking refuge in the stables when he stayed here, just so they were fed up when their riders came for them. The only one who usually didn't sleep here was Toothless, who shared Hiccup's hut at a higher vantage point.
"Well at any rate I brought breakfast!"
He puffed as he motioned to lean over and set down the baskets under his arms, realizing too late that he was just a little too top heavy with the one on his back, he let out a startled yelp as he went head over heels, leaving a mess of fish across the floor as Fanghook didn't hesitate to start cleaning up said mess while his rider struggled on the ground to right himself, not unlike an upside down turtle.
"Would you believe this is probably the fifth time this has happened this week?"

Henretta stood as soon as she heard the new voice, smiling at the boy and about to thank him for bringing the dragons food, though when he slipped she couldn't help but laugh at the sight. He looked fine after his little slip, which meant it was okay for her to laugh of course. Gummy joined the monstrous nightmare in 'cleaning up' the mess of fish, while Henretta helped the boy up with a smile, "A little accident prone are we?" She asked with good nature, sliding the basket behind Guestav to the dragons so he wouldn't fall onto it again. "Is the monstrous nightmare there yours?" She asked curiously, nodding her head towards Fanghook, "He's a sweet big guy isn't he~ I didn't think I'd wake up to such a sweet surprirse." She said and put her hand son her hips, sizing up the smaller boy. Quickly she grabbed hold of his arm, of course she knew he wasn't an alpha but she still wanted to size him up anyway. She stood to the side of him, gently trailing her hands down his arms and to his fingers, "For someone so small you really have a kick to you." She said under her breath, grabbing his other head and looking at his fingers closely, almost holding the boy's hand against her face, thumbs trailing his palm, "More alpha then I thought..." She seemed a little confused, dropping the boy's hand back at at his side, uriouslt tilting he rehab as she leaned down to his level. Her hands on her knees as she looked into the boy's eyes, giggling with an almost sinister grin, "My name's Henretta, but you may call me Henry, sir." She said sir with a cackle, though she meant it sincerely, standing straight again. She had never met such a small and scrawny alpha before, but maybe human alphas were different than dragon alphas?
